So much misinformed on LED’s, it’s everywhere.
Mostly electrical outfits trying to promote their business, and the occasional “smart guy” looking only at the techy advancement of them.
Then there’s the power companies, who really don’t seem to care about your health or the environment.

I’ll be brief:

They are. HORRIBLE for your eyes.
Causing macular degeneration, cataracts and other serious long term issues.

PLEASE look this up.
It’s fact.

As for environment?
Here’s what SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN has to say, among other peer reviewed test results:

“LEDs contain lead, arsenic and a dozen other “potentially dangerous substances”

I won’t get into the frequency they bombard your DNA with for fear of being called a conspiracy theorist, but look that up to.

Things have a purpose, including the frequencies that are all around us.
